ArmInfo.The first and second presidents of Armenia responded to the proposal of the acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to hold pre-election debates on June 18. Thus, Arman Musinyan, Spokesperson of the first President of the Republic of Armenia Levon Ter- Petrosyan, wrote on his Facebook page:
"In response to numerous requests from journalists regarding Nikol Pashinyan's proposal to hold a debate with the first president, I would like to inform you: Levon Ter- Petrosyan has nothing to talk about with a plague fatal to the nation. "
In turn, the representative of the "Armenia" bloc Aram Vardevanian, referring to Pashinyan's proposal to hold a debate the day before, noted that the president who liberated the lands should under no circumstances enter into debates with the person who surrendered the lands. "Anyone who does not take into account the interests of Armenia is at odds with its interests. I see no reason and expediency to enter into debates with such a person," the representative of the "Armenia" bloc emphasized.
