ArmInfo. The leader of the Yerkir Tsirani party, lawyer Zaruhi Postanjyan was hospitalized after she was released from the Kanaker-Zeytun Police Department at 00:20 local time on May 21.
According to the party's press service, Postanjyan was injured. "Postanjyan was hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration in her health (injuries, nausea, heart palpitations, dizziness, headache, severe pain in various parts of the body, other anomalies)," the party said.
The party also recalled that the politician was illegally detained by police officers on May 20. At the same time, it is noted that the police used force against Postanjyan during the arrest, and her right to freedom of speech and assembly was also violated.
It should be noted that the day before, in front of the Armenian parliament building, a protest action was held with the demand to publish a document, which the acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan plans to sign with the President of Azerbaijan. The RA police detained more than a dozen citizens from the territory adjacent to the parliament. During the arrest, law enforcement officers used disproportionate force against peaceful demonstrators.
To recall, Ambassador of Armenia to the Vatican Mikael Minasyan on May 19 wrote on his Facebook page that Pashinyan is going to sign a tripartite document, according to which, until the final demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border 5 villages in Tavush region and 1 village of Ararat region will be transferred to Baku. According to him, work on this document has been completed, it will soon be signed and ratified.
In turn, Pashinyan confirmed the existence of this document, and stressed that it 100% proceeds from the interests of the Republic of Armenia and he will sign it if Baku fulfills its obligations.
