ArmInfo. Unblocking regional communications is a priority for the Armenian government, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on May 20 before the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Pashinyan recalled that since 1992 Armenia has been in a state of blockade. At the same time, as assured by the acting head of government, the issue is not subject to discussion within the framework of the "corridor" logic.
Actng Prime Minister also touched upon the Karabakh settlement. Addressing those who speak about the final solution to the Karabakh problems (this was repeatedly stated by Ilham Aliyev himself.-ed. note), Pashinyan noted that the international community is increasingly talking about a political settlement of the issue, which indicates the opposite.
The very process of a political settlement of the issue will not be easy, he said. At the same time, according to Pashinyan, the current leadership of Armenia has the necessary will and endurance in order to go all the way. "We need political will, the ability to take strikes, open and transparent work with the public, but we will go this way," he assured, once again calling on the citizens of the republic not to succumb to the provocations of "agents of influence of Azerbaijani propaganda in Armenia."
