Thus, on May 19 in parliament, when asked by a journalist to tell about the situation in Syunik, Sargsyan urged to follow the reports and official news of the Ministry of Defense. "The Ministry of Defense presents the situation on a daily basis, and I will ask you to be satisfied with this," Sargsyan said.
To the comment that he is the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense and is eligible to represent the points of view of this department, he noted: "I know who I am, please follow the official news. The Ministry of Defense gives accurate information. Focus on it."
Meanwhile, the RA Defense Ministry noted that today at 2:00pm negotiations on a peaceful resolution of the situation on the border as a result of the provocation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were to be continued, however, the Azerbaijani side did not come to these negotiations. "Despite the earlier reached agreements, the Azerbaijani side did not come to the talks," the RA Defense Ministry stressed.
