ArmInfo. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will arrive in Yerevan today on a two-day working visit. Within the framework of the visit, Lavrov is scheduled to meet with the top leadership of Armenia.
As previously reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, then, on May 10-11, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry will also pay a working visit to Baku. "During the contacts, it is expected to thoroughly consider a wide range of issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, as well as interaction in the international arena." But the priority topic of the talks will be the implementation of existing agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh. "Priority attention will be paid to the practical aspects of the implementation of the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021 on Nagorno-Karabakh," Zakharova said.
To note, against the background of Lavrov's visit to Armenia, two protests will take place in Yerevan. One is organized by the public organization "In the name of Hadrut" at noon in front of the RA Foreign Ministry, and the second at 6:30pm at the monument to Garegin Nzhdeh in the center of Yerevan. The second action was organized by the Sasna Tsrer party, which is carrying out a fiercely anti-Russian rhetoric.
