Semyon Bagdasarov: Retribution has found the murderers of the  Armenian people, but their death has not drowned out the pain, this  wound will bleed

ArmInfo. On April 24, 1915, mass arrests of representatives of the Armenian intelligentsia began in Constantinople, so the "Pandora's box" was opened, which resulted in the death of millions of Christians in the Ottoman Empire. This  was written by a Russian political figure, a member of the Fair  Russia party, director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East  and Central Asia, Semyon Bagdasarov.

41 people decided the fate of millions, they were responsible for the  terrible extermination of millions of Christians.

The "executioners" were successively destroyed over several years,  including members of the Young Turk triumvirate - Enver Pasha, whose  name was mentioned by the Turkish president at the parade, Kemal  Pasha, Talaat Pasha. But that will be after. And in the beginning,  there was fear, humility, submission, and the silent acceptance of  fate by millions of Christians.

It was a consistent and relentless plan of extermination. The  atrocities were strictly religious and ethnic in nature, and their  name is the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.

Retribution has found the murderers of the Armenian people, but their  death has not drowned out the pain, this wound will bleed. But that  will be after. Rivers of blood will flow first. Just think about  these terrible figures: in the period from 1915 to 1923, one and a half million Armenians were killed, over a million Greeks from Asia Minor, 850,000 Assyrians, more than half a million Yazidis, 250,000 Pontic Greeks, and a community of 200,000 Russian Molokans was exterminated in the Kars region.

They were slaughtered in the same  way as other Christian peoples, and their villages and monuments were  also destroyed by Turkey.
