Vazgen Manukyan, the candidate for the post of Prime  Minister from the Movement for Saving the Motherland, said this in an  interview with journalists in front of the government dachas at  night.  "He was scaring people with war. I have the impression that  he did not stop the war so that people would be afraid of the war. He  must be driven away at all costs. Armenia has no future with this  leader. I said that if the occupation of Artsakh was a matter of  prestige for Azerbaijan, then Syunik is a strategic issue for it.   Syunik worries our neighbors, Iran and China more than the issue of  Artsakh. For almost 3 years of his rule, he did not bring any benefit  to Armenia, only to Azerbaijan, " Vazgen Manukyan said.  

Answering the question about the possible detention of the heads of  communities of Syunik region, Manukyan said that such a meeting of  Pashinyan is a natural anger of the people, and not an organized  action. <If he tries to detain people, he will get an answer in  Yerevan. I would not have thought that such a person could be a  leader in Armenia or in any other country. We haven't had such a  leader in millennia. The traitor is not changed by the elections, he  is removed by force, " he said.

It should be noted that it is reported that the mayor of Meghri,  Mkhitar Zakaryan, has been summoned to the law enforcement agencies.   According to Zakaryan's lawyer Gayane Papoyan, first her client was  called to the Meghri police station, then they were told that they  had to come to Kapan, and in the end it turned out that they would be  taken to Yerevan.  It should be noted that a criminal case for  hooliganism has been opened in connection with the protests in the  Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia against the background of  the visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the region.   Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on April 21 that  violators of the law in Meghri should be severely punished. "What  happened in Meghri, I am sure, is a violation of the law. And I hope  that the law enforcement authorities of the republic will respond to  this in a very clear and tough form, because we cannot allow a small  group of people to create an impression: that is, regardless of the  impression, we cannot allow the existence of an atmosphere of  impunity in the republic. Mr. Abazyan and Mr. Ghazaryan, I hope that  you will resolve this issue by special and drastic actions and those  responsible will be brought to justice in a form that is visible to  the public, " Pashinyan said.
