Political scientist: Hiding the reality, Pashinyan framed the  Armenian people

ArmInfo.What happened to Armenia and Artsakh after the 44-day war was due to the irrepressible craving and thirst for power. First of all, due to the fact that after taking  power, neither Serzh Sargsyan nor Nikol Pashinyan initiated any  changes in the country already gripped by the crisis. The leader of the Constructive Party of Armenia, political scientist Andrias Ghukasyan, expressed a similar opinion to ArmInfo.

"Today, after the fact, Pashinyan keeps repeating at every corner  about the predictability of a 44-day war. But he, for some reason,  was silent about it, having come to power in 2018. Today, he's  handing out responsibility to generals, diplomats, everyone but himself. And if he really considered himself responsible for what happened, he simply would not have gone to the polls. Moreover, today he claims that everything was sold before his arrival. But here there is a natural question-why he kept silent about it for three years, " - said the political scientist.

In this light, Ghukasyan stressed the complete contradiction of  Pashinyan's thesis that "everything is sold" to his own repeated  statements, including those made in Stepanakert, that the situation  is under control and nothing threatens Artsakh. Thus, by sending  contradictory messages to the public, Pashinyan, according to his  estimates, actually hid the true state of affairs from the people.

Meanwhile, if the prime minister had revealed to the public the real  state of affairs, revealed the details of the upcoming geopolitical  scenario, the geopolitical catastrophe, the Armenian people,  according to Ghukasyan, would have been forced to consolidate around  the problems of Armenia in 2018. And this would lead to the active  opposition of 10 million Armenians around the world to the scenario  of dividing Armenia between Turkey, Russia and Azerbaijan implemented  last year.

"And here lies the greatest responsibility, the fault of Nikol  Pashinyan in the face of the Armenians of the whole world. It was he  who personally prevented the mobilization of the Armenians, the  mobilization of the resources of the Armenians. Meanwhile, this was a  real opportunity to counteract the scenario that was being prepared  for implementation against us. Today, we can already state that by  hiding the reality, hiding the upcoming scenario, it was Pashinyan  who personally framed the Armenian people, " the political scientist  concluded.
