ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan revealed the secret of the meeting with the first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan in the parliament on April 14. So, according to Pashinyan, in July 2018, during a meeting with Ter-Petrosyan, he offered to hand over land in Karabakh.
"I quote:" I have to hand over the land already." In exchange for what? Why? How? The representation of the first president, in any case, formed on that day, did not go beyond this framework, and everything else is a matter of evaluation," the prime minister explained.
A month earlier, the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, presented his vision of a way out of the crisis in which the republic found itself. According to Ter-Petrosyan, the only way proceeding from the interests of the Prime Minister is his immediate and voluntary resignation, and with legal guarantees of security from the parliament and his at least temporary residence abroad. "In this case, the duties of the Prime Minister should be assigned to a non-partisan deputy Prime Minister, who will be able to ensure fair elections by his neutrality," Ter-Petrosyan concluded.
