ArmInfo.Further detention of Armenian prisoners of war should become a" headache " for Baku, MP from the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Tatevik Hayrapetyan said on April 13 from the rostrum of the parliament.
To do this, according to the MP, Armenia should step up its work on various international platforms. "The issue should be removed from the political plane," she said, stressing that the problem is of a humanitarian nature and Azerbaijan's failure to fulfill its obligations.
"We are all in the same boat, and if the ship goes down, we will sink together," said Tatevik Hayrapetyan. In this context, it is unacceptable for a number of political forces to speculate on the topic and to accumulate political dividends to shift the blame for the outbreak of hostilities to the current government, thus exposing Armenia as an aggressor state in the eyes of the international community. Meanwhile, as the parliamentarian pointed out, Armenia is dealing with Azerbaijan - a state that has long been fascist, manifests itself aggressively and repeatedly declares its plans to start a war. "Aliyev has been preparing for war since 2003," the pro-government MP stressed. At the same time, according to her, never before has the factor of Turkey in inciting war been so significant as in 2020.
When asked why the leader of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the country that guarantees the security of Artsakh, has never visited post-war Artsakh and did not ask how the people of Artsakh live, Hayrapetyan confidently noted that "even without visiting Artsakh, Nikol Pashinyan is very well informed about what is happening there."
