ArmInfo. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on April 13.
According to the press service of the Belarusian leader, the two-day program involves a rich negotiating agenda. In particular, the head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will hold two meetings. One of them will take place immediately after the arrival of the Belarusian leader in Baku. In an informal setting, the heads of state will discuss the main directions of Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations and strategic issues of bilateral cooperation.
The official part of the talks is scheduled for Wednesday. The meeting of the Presidents will be held in a narrow and expanded format with the participation of members of the delegations. The main focus will be on expanding trade and economic cooperation and filling it with new content. The parties will consider issues of industrial cooperation, the implementation of current and future projects in the field of food production and supply, processing of agricultural products. They will also touch upon the most relevant topics: cooperation in healthcare, science and technology, education and tourism.
The Heads of state will also exchange views on topical issues on the international agenda. The negotiations are expected to result in the signing of bilateral documents.
