ArmInfo.On the initiative of the French Embassy in Armenia, the IV, already traditional, Francophonie film festival starts in Yerevan in the second week of  April. The opening of the film festival will be marked by the  screening of the film by French director Alexis Michalik "Edmond",  which will take place on April 6 at 7:00pm in the "Moscow" cinema.

During the French-language film days, thanks to cooperation with the  embassies of Switzerland, Canada and Belgium, the Armenian audience  will have the opportunity to watch 9 modern comedy, dramatic,  documentary, animation films with Armenian and Russian subtitles.

It is reported that in the framework of the film festival, French  director Vincent Sorrel will visit Armenia to present the documentary  film "Filmmaker is a Cosmonaut" (France, 2018), which depicts the  process of creative work of the famous Armenian director Artavazd  Pelechian. After the screening of the film, which will take place on  April 10 at 7:00pm, discussions will take place with the  participation of Vincent Sorrel and Artavazd Peleshian.

French-language film days in Armenia will be held in strict  observance of sanitary and epidemiological rules. The entrance is  free.
