ArmInfo. The deputy of the State Duma of Russia Konstantin Zatulin is again forced to respond to the attacks of the anti-Armenian character of the Russian public figure Maxim Shevchenko.
So, in the message of the press service of Zatulin, in particular, it is said: "Talented for all hands Maxim Shevchenko entered the fight for the 208th electoral district in the elections to the State Duma. He successfully abandoned both the Vladimir region and the Communists, from whom he is listed in the regional duma, to try his luck in Moscow. The deceived Communist Party through the mouth of Rashkin criticized the demarche of the fugitive and declared everything a conspiracy of the Kremlin. We honestly doubt that the Kremlin, on which the former presenter of the First Channel Shevchenko has recently poured so much shit, is busy with his employment in the State Duma - but let it not blush Shevchenko and Rashkin deal. However, in connection with his self-promotion, the fan of military parades in Baku, defending himself in a YouTube stream from the proposals of Konstantin Zatulin and Vladimir Solovyov to register as a foreign agent, according to his good internal tradition, did not blush again - now from a lie.
Shevchenko enthusiastically lies about Zatulin's "fierce support" for the "expulsion of Azerbaijanis from their lands", despite the fact that he knows Zatulin's position well from the moment of his involvement in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, that is, since 1994. The conflict, according to Zatulin, should have been resolved only by peaceful means, as a result of a package agreement: the full return to Azerbaijan of five regions around Nagorno - Karabakh, and a partial return of two corridor areas-Lachin and Kelbajar, in exchange for recognition of the self-determination of Nagorno-Karabakh, that is, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Zatulin rdiffers from the many-faced Mr. Shevchenko in that he has always believed and believes that the Armenians of the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region (NKR, the Republic of Artsakh) have no less rights to self-determination, freedom and independence than the population of Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria, Donbass or Crimea. They confirmed this by going through the conflict that began as part of the Soviet Union.
What happened at the end of last year and makes Shevchenko so excited is a gross violation by Azerbaijan and Turkey, which is behind it, of the ceasefire reached with Russian help in 1994, and the rejection of a peaceful solution to the conflict. You can't wash a black dog white. And no matter what success Shevchenko's friends achieve in the Caucasus, the issue of self-determination of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh does not remove it. This position - peace through compromise, self-determination and freedom in exchange for regions, Zatulin does not change all 27 years since 1994, as can be easily seen in hundreds of media materials.
Shevchenko is lying when he launches tall tales about Zatulin's "material interest" in supporting the NKR. We understand that Shevchenko himself has no principles that would force him to perform for free. But why transfer it from a sick head to a healthy one? So after all, you will not suffer for long - for slander. We are waiting for the Azerbaijani archaeologists awakened by Shevchenko to find evidence of Zatulin's fall in the captured Shusha. If we don't wait, you can take the blame, Maxim Leonardovich. Shevchenko insults the mind with a story about Zatulin's involvement in the mythical plan to "resettle Armenians from Karabakh to Abkhazia". This duck is launched by Shevchenko for the first time. And since Shevchenko refuses to recognize himself as a foreign agent, he simply does not say anything - he blurted it out, probably with the aim of quarreling the Armenians with the Abkhazians in Abkhazia." In the afterword, Konstantin Zatulin wrote in particular: "I'm probably a bad politician. Friends advise me not to get dirty in a public quarrel with a character for whom PR is more important than honor. I understand, but I can't. A scoundrel who can make jokes about Margarita Simonyan's grandmother - whether she fled to Russia from the genocide on a submarine - should not celebrate with the customers. We have already heard from others like them that the Jews burned themselves in the furnaces of Buchenwald. How does this differ from the stories about Armenians who killed themselves during the genocide in the Ottoman Empire? If we are all worth something, the rShevchenko women cannot be handshake in Russian society."
