ArmInfo. For Armenia, relations with Russia are constant, regardless of who is in power in Armenia and what views he adheres to. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian stated this in an interview with RBC TV channel.
When asked to comment on the opinion that relations between the two countries have deteriorated in the past few years, the president said: "This is more an assessment, probably from Moscow or from Russia." In his words, the overwhelming majority of Armenians, including representatives of the Diaspora in the far abroad, agree that Russia is the main partner of Armenia. "Factors such as trust and predictability are of key importance for Armenia's relations with Russia. One is called trust. The second is predictability. Our relationship must be so clear and so deep that we must trust each other 100%. And it should be so that there is absolute predictability. Unpredictability in such relations is very dangerous in such a world, "Sarkissian said.
