ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hellenic Republic.
As the press service of the RA Prime Minister told ArmInfo, Pashinyan's message reads, in particular: "On behalf of the people of Armenia and on my own behalf, I send warm congratulations and best wishes to you and the friendly people of Greece on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hellenic Republic and the 200th anniversary of the liberation from the yoke of Ottoman Turkey.
Two centuries ago, the Greek people were able not only to withstand fatal challenges, but also to fulfill their dream of restoring statehood.
Armenia attaches particular importance to traditional relations with brotherly Greece, based on identical values, close historical ties and warm relations between the two peoples. Last year's challenges of the year have once again confirmed the importance of a multifaceted and continuous dialogue between our two friendly countries.
I am convinced that in the coming years, sincere and effective cooperation between our countries will further strengthen and expand.
