ArmInfo.The Caucasian Nature Fund will allocate 1 million 920 thousand euros to support specially protected natural territories in Armenia.
As ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Foundation, the three-year agreement was signed between the Caucasus Foundation (CNF), the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Armenia and the Four SNO, which are members of the Ministry.
According to agreements, the support will be provided to the Zangezore biosphere reserve - 765,000 euros, the State Reserve "Joshrovsky Forest" - 480,000 euros, National Park "Dilizhan" - 495,000 euros and National Park "Lake Arpi" - 180,000 euros with which CNF has been cooperating for many years.
The Wildlife Fund of the Caucasus began its programs to support specially protected territories of Armenia in 2009. CNF continues to work with the Armenian Government to improve the efficiency of work on the PAs and will continue to maintain the preservation of the unique biodiversity of Armenia.
