ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, the press service of the Armenian PM informs.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia once again congratulated his Georgian counterpart on being appointed to the office of Prime Minister and wished him every success in the exercise of that important mission.
The parties voiced reciprocated readiness to build on the high-level contacts established between the two nations in a bid to forward the hectic agenda of bilateral relations and expand the ongoing cooperation.
It is noteworthy that today in Yerevan the meeting of the Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia Andranik Piloyan with the Ambassador of Georgia to the RA Giorgi Saganelidze took place. At the meeting, Piloyan touched upon the implementation of programs within the framework of a number of cooperation agreements signed between the governments of Armenia and Georgia. He stressed that due to the COVID epidemic and the war unleashed against the RA in 2020, the implementation of projects was mainly postponed, and this year there is a need to intensify cooperation. In turn, the Georgian Ambassador expressed his readiness to contribute to the development of cooperation between the two countries in this area. During the meeting, a number of issues related to bilateral Armenian-Georgian cooperation were discussed.
