ArmInfo. The session of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction in the case of alleged violation of the constitutional order (in the case of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian and others) has been postponed for a week.
As reported on the website of the office of the second RA President, the corresponding decision was made by judge Anna Danibekyan due to the absence of ex-Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan at the meeting.
Judge Danibekyan informed that a petition was received from Gevorgyan's lawyer Erik Aleksanyan to postpone the meeting, to which medical documents concerning the state of health of his client were attached.
Aleksanyan said that on February 28 Armen Gevorgyan had health problems, and yesterday he had a fever. This morning he passed the coronavirus test, the results of which will be in a few hours. Taking into account that the hearings cannot continue without the participant of the process Armen Gevorgyan, the session was postponed to March 9, at 13:00.
It should be reminded that the previous meeting on the case of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian and others did not take place due to the absence of the lawyer of the former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, Erik Aleksanyan.
