ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan held a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Foreign Minister Yekaterina Zakharieva.
The interlocutors highly appreciated the Armenian-Bulgarian relations based on historical friendship and strong cultural ties. A wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda was touched upon, and mutual readiness to take steps to further enrichment was emphasized.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Bulgaria also exchanged views on the established cooperation within the EU, emphasizing in this context the entry into force of the Comprehensive Agreement on Enhanced Partnership between Armenia and the EU (CEPA). During the telephone conversation, the foreign ministers discussed issues of regional stability and security. Minister Ayvazyan drew the interlocutor's attention to the humanitarian situation in Artsakh in connection with the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression, spoke about the steps taken to eliminate it.
