The Ombudsman of Armenia and a number of political forces called on  not to succumb to provocations and to act within the framework of the  Constitution

ArmInfo.The situation in the country requires an extraordinary effort from all of us to ensure solidarity and absolute respect for human rights. This statement was  made by the Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan.

“Do not allow any actions that may lead to tension. The government,  and primarily law enforcement agencies, must be guided solely by the  principles of the rule of law and strictly ensure the protection of  human rights in the country.

On these crucial days, we need vigilance and solidarity, "the RA  Human Rights Defender emphasized.  The party "Enlightened Armenia ",  which stated that the political crisis in the country deepening, and  there is a need to immediately return the process to a political  track.

The Republican Party of Armenia  also reacted to what is happening in the country. The statement of  the RPA Supreme Body, in particular, says: "The capitulating  authorities, within the framework of their conspiratorial steps  towards the collapse of Armenia, are trying to provoke civil clashes.  The gang, which has brought us all to the brink of a national  catastrophe, is ready to take new treacherous The time has come for  decisive steps in the name of the future of Armenia and Artsakh. We  call on our supporters and comrades-in-arms to gather today at 15:00  at Freedom Square. All citizens show absolute patriotism and civic  will, not succumbing to the provocations of the authorities.

The leaders and officers of law enforcement agencies should not obey  the illegal orders of the capitulator and take the side of the people  for the sake of the future of our state. "The emergency statement  issued by the Movement to Save the Motherland also calls on citizens  to gather at 15:00 on Freedom Square in Yerevan to express support  for our Armed Forces. The Movement to Save the Motherland welcomes  the statement of the highest command personnel of the Armed Forces,  all the statements recorded in it and expresses its support for the  only and disinterested guarantor of our country - the Armed Forces.   From now on, we consider it superfluous to speak again about the  assessment of the actions of the person holding the post of Prime  Minister, Pashinyan is now trying to provoke our people into clashes  and bloodshed. We call on all citizens of Armenia not to succumb to  the provocations of this regime, to show restraint, composure and  unite around the highest command personnel of the Armed Forces and  the Armenian Army. ex citizens, concerned about the fate of the  Motherland, to gather at 15:00 on Freedom Square to express support  for our Armed Forces, our Armenian Army and complete the case of  removing the Government and Pashinyan, ”the Movement stressed.   Meanwhile, now the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with his few  supporters is walking along Amiryan Street. He called on all his  supporters to come to Republic Square by 4 pm. As ArmInfo previously  reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia issued a  statement today, in which it demanded the resignation of Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan and warned him against using force against  his people. The statement was signed by more than 40 high-ranking  officers.

Reacting to the statement of the General Staff, Pashinyan called on  his supporters to gather in Republic Square, and called the actions  of the General Staff an unsuccessful attempt at a military coup. He  also stated that he dismissed the head of the General Staff Onik  Gasparyan.
