ArmInfo.The Sante Armenie (Health Care Armenia) initiative was launched at the French Embassy in Armenia.
As reported by the press service of the French Embassy in Armenia, Ambassador Jonathan Lacotte during his speech welcomed the launch of the Sante Armenie initiative, aimed at meeting the needs of cooperation in the field of health between various French beneficiaries with Armenia.
The Ambassador noted that the healthcare sector is more than ever at the center of the Armenian-French bilateral cooperation, and that this initiative, being implemented directly in the post-war context, aims to create the basis for long-term structural cooperation.
The Sante Armenie initiative brings together in France more than 250 healthcare professionals from renowned French institutions such as the hospitals of Paris and Marseille: AP-HP, AP-HM, Lyon's civil hospital, some of which, such as Lyon Vinatie Hospital, have been present for over 20 years in Armenia through various initiatives.
The beneficiaries from the Armenian side are the Ministry of Health, the Medical University, other structures, foundations and public organizations.
At the end of this first meeting, organized in collaboration with the French office of AGBU, a roadmap for future goals and cooperation projects was drawn up. An agreement was reached to organize the first meeting of specialists from the two countries in the near future.
