ArmInfo.The Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia carries out round-the-clock seismic monitoring of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Artsakh and adjacent territories.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Service analyzed geophysical and hydrogeochemical data. In particular, it was revealed that before the earthquake occurred on February 5, the number of anomalous manifestations increased, which have not yet been completed.
"Taking into account the above, it can be assumed that earthquakes of weak and medium strength are expected in Armenia and adjacent territories in the coming days," the source says. At the same time, based on the available data, the Ministry of Emergencies reports that the likelihood of strong seismic shocks is low. It is reported that the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducts round-the-clock monitoring, and will periodically report data on the current situation.
