Welcoming the guest and members of the Iranian delegation, Nikol Pashinyan noted, that there are many important issues to discuss today's meeting: the development and deepening of bilateral relations, cooperation on various platforms, the current situation in the region.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed that regional security and peace are at the center of attention of all states in the region. "Our ties are based on traditional good-neighborliness relations, and we are always glad to receive representatives of Iran in our country," Nikol Pashinyan said.
In turn, the Iranian Foreign Minister conveyed the warm greetings of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to the head of the Armenian government. According to the Foreign Minister, Armenia is a good neighbor of Iran, and Tehran maintains very warm relations with Yerevan.
Zarif noted that Iran has great respect for the Prime Minister personally, who bravely took a step towards establishing peace in the region. "We have common regional concerns. From the first days of the confrontation, we and other countries of the region have been in constant contact, and we want to maintain these ties, with the prospects for good cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats," the head Iranian Foreign Ministry said.
