ArmInfo. The international community should provide humanitarian assistance to Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"The international community and, undoubtedly, the countries participating in the resolution of the conflict are faced with the task of providing assistance to the affected areas, in solving humanitarian problems associated with the return of refugees, with the restoration of destroyed infrastructure, protection and restoration of historical, religious and cultural monuments," Putin said on January 27 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, which is taking place online this year.
According to him, Russia has undertaken active mediation efforts to stop the armed conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. "We tried to follow the agreements reached in the OSCE Minsk Group, in particular between its co-chairs - Russia, the United States and France," the Russian president said, adding that this is "a good example of cooperation," RIA Novosti reports.
