The former governor entered into an agreement with the former head of the Kakavadzor community S.M. and together with his brother, ex-deputy from the Republican Party of Armenia, NS, purchased agricultural land in the amount of 7,800 square meters for 35,200 drams. It was through these lands that the North- South highway was to pass later. Then, they carried out illegal buildings on this land, after which they were officially legalized. After that, thereby increasing the cost of the land purchased for a penny, they sold it to the developers of the highway for 139.923.733 AMD. The ex-governor and his brother have been charged, and a motion has been submitted to the court for their arrest.
