ArmInfo.The best specialists from the technical team of the Mariinsky Theater are recording Beethoven's symphonies performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia.
According to the orchestra, the technical staff of 14 specialists, headed by the best audio and sound engineers of the Mariinsky Theater, with the participation of the chief broadcast director, one of the largest cultural institutions in Russia and the world, is filming and audio recording of the symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven, performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia. Works are carried out with the consent of the artistic director of the theater and chief conductor Valery Gergiev.
Within the framework of the "Pilgrimage to Beethoven" festival, the orchestra recorded symphonies No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 of the brilliant composer out of 9 planned, under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor of the NPOA Eduard Topchyan. The process took place in the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall from January 16 to 23.
The invited experts brought with them from St. Petersburg high-quality modern video equipment, microphones and necessary equipment, including 2 PTS devices. 5 operators filmed the performance of symphonies from 10 positions to create high-quality video images and sound. The final product will be distributed through electronic streaming platforms, best representing Armenian classical performing arts. Note that these specialists are responsible for the creation of audio and video products of the famous Mariinsky TV channel.

The festival "Pilgrimage to Beethoven" is carried out by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
The festival pays tribute to the legacy of the genius composer, which was created in the context of his eternal struggle with darkness. Within the framework of the festival, two symphony and two chamber concerts have already taken place. Several more Beethoven concerts are expected in 2021.
