ArmInfo. Members of the armed forces with disabilities should receive an exceptional personal approach based on the most accurate assessment of individual needs. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan stated this during a meeting dedicated to the process of prosthetics for servicemen with disabilities.
According to the press service of the government, during the meeting, Avinyan stressed the need to address key issues, taking into account the assessment of current needs and capabilities, establishing a special prosthetics procedure, identifying beneficiaries and attracting additional resources.
"The process of prosthetics should be at the highest level. This is the least that we can do for the servicemen who did not spare their lives for the sake of defending the Motherland," he said. During the meeting, the participants discussed the progress of the prosthetics process and daily work to clarify the number of beneficiaries. A separate group included issues related to the organization of prosthetics for persons injured or wounded during the war, including an assessment of their needs and the possibility of attracting additional funding. Avinyan established two important principles for the execution of work: the introduction of high standards and the determination of the order of persons to be prosthetic as needed. On these issues, the departments were given appropriate instructions.
