ArmInfo. An electronic system of administrative proceedings will be introduced in Armenia.
Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses were introduced at the sitting of the National Assembly on January 19 in the first reading.
According to the Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan, this measure is based on the requirements of the Development Strategy of the State Revenue Service for 2020-2024, approved by the government's decision. At present, as the head of the CGD emphasized, administrative proceedings are carried out in paper form. However, the peculiarities of administrative affairs, in particular, notification of business entities, require the use of an electronic form of notification. This form will avoid the human factor, reduce administrative costs, reduce corruption risks, and increase the efficiency of tax administration.
