ArmInfo. <Rossiya airlines> will open direct flights from Pulkovo Airport to the capital of Armenia Yerevan from January 15. This was announced on January 14 by the Airline's press service.
"Flights will be operated once a week on Fridays on Airbus A319 aircraft. The first FV6921 flight from Pulkovo airport, which is based on the Airline, will take place on January 15," the statement on the carrier's website says.
Departure from Pulkovo is planned at 9:30 am Moscow time, the return flight from Yerevan will depart at 5:55 pm local time. Flight tickets are already on sale. On board the aircraft, passengers are required to wear personal protective equipment - masks and gloves.
The Airline noted that Armenia has now completely lifted the ban on entering the country by air for foreigners, but for this they need to have a negative coronavirus test, which was done no more than three days before being presented at the border. The test can also be done at the Yerevan Airport, but then the citizen will be obliged to self-isolate until the test is ready, the result of which will become known within 48 hours.
The Airline also reminded that, having arrived in Russia, you also need to take a coronavirus test using the PCR method and submit the result to Rospotrebnadzor. Results of tests made by other methods will not be accepted. Before receiving a negative test result, the passenger is also required to self-isolate.
According to the Pulkovo timetable, Nordwind Airline also operates direct flights to Yerevan. A number of airlines also offer transfers to the capital of Armenia.
