PA: Azerbaijan is trying to "sell" prisoners of war to the Armenian  side at a higher price

ArmInfo.The Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN presented a document in which 62 Armenian prisoners of war are presented as terrorists. On January  11, Deputy Chairperson of the NA Standing Committee on Human Rights  Ani Samsonyan stated this in an interview with journalists.

As far as I know, the office of the Ombudsman  of Armenia has already submitted a document detailing how these  prisoners of war appeared in Azerbaijan. This is a violation of  humanitarian law by Azerbaijan, because the presentation of a  prisoner of war as a saboteur contradicts the protection of human  rights and all the rules for the repatriation of prisoners of war  after the war, "Samsonyan said.

When asked what the Enlightened Armenia party expects from Nikol  Pashinyan's visit to Moscow, Ani Samsonyan replied: "Now everything  is focused on what exactly will be discussed in Moscow, but I think  that is very clear. The issue of prisoners of war, which is the most  important, as well as negotiations to unblock roads and transport  infrastructure. I am deeply concerned that the negotiator Nikol  Pashinyan, who was ridiculed by the President of Azerbaijan, will  begin negotiations with Aliyev. This is a very bad situation, at  least from a purely psychological point of view, we may have serious  problems. "

When asked whether she considers it realistic that, for example, an  Armenian exporter can transport goods to Russia through the territory  of Azerbaijan, Samsonyan said: `` Clause 9 of the tripartite  statement of November 9, 2020 states that the Republic of Armenia  guarantees transport links between the Republic of Azerbaijan and  Nakhchivan The Autonomous Republic, that is, in this paragraph only  the Republic of Armenia is indicated as the guarantor of security.  For many years Armenia has not been engaged in propaganda to incite  hatred towards Azerbaijan.
