Head of Union of Armenians of Russia to Nikol Pashinyan: The Armenian  community of Russia is waiting for your resignation, not your arrival  in Moscow

ArmInfo.The Armenian community of Russia is waiting for the resignation of the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, not his arrival in Moscow. This is stated  in the statement of the President of the Union of Armenians of Russia  (UAR) Ara Abrahamyan, which was spread by the press service of the  organization.

"Mr. Pashinyan, you published on the FB social network the" priority  "points of a statement that is harmful to the Armenian statehood and  our people, which, apparently, will form the basis of a new  agreement, which you intend to sign in Moscow. In April 2018, when  you, exploiting the sincere feelings of our gullible people,  persistently sought the post of prime minister for yourself, the  Union of Armenians of Russia organized a round table with the  participation of representatives of the Armenian community, within  which we expressed our concerns and negative forecasts related to  your coming to power. For almost three years, you, endowed with  virtually unlimited power and unprecedented trust of the people,  unfortunately, have not done anything to change our attitude towards  you for the better.  Why and with what are you going to Russia now?  What else are you going to sign and what else to agree on in words?  Why are you so interested in the soonest completion of the  surrendering of everything that is still in your power? To whom and  what do you owe so much that you are ready to endure all the  humiliation and insolent attacks from Aliyev? Why can't you stop the  scenario of destroying Armenia, despite the calls of the people of  Armenia and Artsakh, the president of the country, the spiritual  leaders of our people - Catholicos Karekin II and Aram I, the  Diaspora? Why, instead of suspending the implementation of all the  other points of the statement before Azerbaijan fulfills point 8 on  the return of Armenian prisoners who were held hostage by Baku,  suddenly link the most important issue for our society with the  "choice of transport routes" vital for Azerbaijan and Turkey and  those of secondary importance for Armenia?! Does the agenda of your  negotiations and agreements contain the issue of the status of  Artsakh? ", the statement reads.

The document also notes that Nikol Pashinyan can no longer represent  Armenians and sign any documents on behalf of Armenia. "Since you  have been acting outside the legal field of the Republic of Armenia  for two months now, and you have nothing to do with either the state  or the people, whose name you are still trying to hide behind,  surrounding yourself with dense cordons of armed guards, while  forgetting that today citizens of Armenia, the borders and residents  of Syunik need protection. I would like to know what the government  agencies are doing and how they participate in these processes and  whether their leaders understand that they, by their actions or  inaction, are helping you, are equally responsible for what is  happening? Why is it not the National Assembly, the Security Council,  the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Defense, but only  the Ombudsman of Armenia that protects the interests of the state and  citizens of the country today? Mr. Pashinyan, if you do not have  answers to these questions, then you have no need to go to Moscow and  annoy and humiliate by your appearance the three-million Armenian  community of Russia. The Armenian community of Russia is waiting for  your resignation, and not for your arrival in Moscow, "said the head  of the UAR Ara Abrahamyan.
