ArmInfo. The prospect of a possible Aliyev-Pashinyan-Putin meeting within the framework of the visit of the head of the Armenian government to Moscow on January 11 raises great concerns, since the agenda of this visit is unclear. This is stated in the statement of the Heritage party received by ArmInfo.
The document notes that after the signing of the trilateral statement on November 9, 2020, Armenia and Karabakh every day face new challenges related to the actions of the RA government, which endangers the territorial integrity of the state and the security of citizens. The Heritage Party declares that all the problems that arose during the 44 days of the war and ended in a humiliating defeat for Armenia testify to the inability of Nikol Pashinyan's government to lead the country out of the crisis situation. Moreover, the Armenian prisoners of war became hostages of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who represents them as terrorists, and thus, trying to deprive them of their prisoner of war status. In these conditions, the statements of the RA Prime Minister on the need to unblock the economic and transport infrastructure in the region means to become a victim of new Azerbaijani-Turkish conspiracies to dismantle the Armenian state. The Heritage Party demands that the RA Prime Minister refuse to travel to Moscow with an agenda unacceptable for Armenia. Armenia must resolutely demand from Aliyev the unconditional return of the Armenian prisoners of war and hostages in accordance with paragraph 8 of the tripartite agreement of November 9.
"No new agreement can be discussed, let alone the signing of a new one, until Azerbaijan fulfills the previous agreements. Armenia must get out of the destructive chain of unilateral concessions and foreign influence. The Artsakh problem must return to the level of the Minsk Group co-chairs, and all problems must be resolved exclusively within the framework of the supremacy of national interests. Society can no longer be deceived, everything must be open and public, in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia. The government, which cannot guarantee all this, must leave, "the statement says.
