Lavrov and Cavusoglu to discuss the activities of the joint  Russian-Turkish center to control the ceasefire in Karabakh

ArmInfo.Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will meet with  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on December 29 in Sochi. This  was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign  Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, at the final  briefing held today.

According to her, the topic of the meeting will be the activities of  the joint Russian-Turkish center to control the ceasefire in  Karabakh.

"The emphasis will be placed on minimizing the risks of possible  clashes, providing humanitarian assistance to the countries. The  focus will be on setting up the activities of the joint  Russian-Turkish monitoring center to control the ceasefire and all  hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, "Zakharova  said. According to her, Cavusoglu will come to Russia on an official  visit at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Minister. He will also  take part in the 8th meeting of the joint strategic planning group.
