ArmInfo. A new street will be built in the capital of Armenia - Yerevan. At a meeting on December 24, the government of the country recognized a number of buildings located between Mamimokonyants and Aram Khachatryan streets as a priority public interest.
According to Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan, the road will be of great importance for the Arabkir community of Yerevan, as it will relieve the congested Komitas Avenue.
The total length of the new road will be 0.265 km. It will start from the beginning of Mamikonyants Street to the courtyard of a new building located at 49 Mamikonyants Street, crossing the former railway line. In order to implement the project, the Minister continued, there is a need to recognize a number of structures in this area as a priority public interest.
To note, according to the reference - the rationale for the draft decision, on the above territory there are 17 units of real estate, including garages. In order for the initial cost of alienation of property located on the territory to be recognized as a priority public interest, an independent appraiser conducted a survey of the territory, made an inventory of the property and made a calculation, according to which 184361000 AMD is required for the project.
