ArmInfo. Each of us must  contribute to the development of Armenia, and although I have never  participated in rallies, now I understand that the time has come.   Former Minister of Defense of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan stated this  during the opposition rally.

Ohanyan noted that he is not a party leader, but he really wants to  bring about changes in the country. The former minister stressed that  the people of Armenia supported the new government in the hope of  reforms and changes for the better. "Over the past 30 years, we have  had many achievements. In the 90s, we won the Artsakh war, we  developed agriculture, Armenian diplomacy, and the army. We were all  proud of our army, which was created not in 2.5 years, but in 30  years, we created an Armenian army from scratch. We had achievements,  but the authorities did not see them, they saw only minuses.  As a  result, representatives of the previous government were persecuted,  blackmailing, and the division of citizens into "black" and "white".  Our diplomacy collapsed, and they began to appoint their relatives to  important positions, who were illiterate and did not have the proper  skills. But now we need competent personnel, competent specialists  who can rectify the situation, "the former minister said.  The former  minister stressed that he could no longer remain silent. <I and my  comrades are depressed by what is happening, we will not be silent.  If experienced personnel come to power, they will be able to rectify  the situation. If the power in the country does not change, then our  defeats will continue.

He believes that border demarcation is being carried out in Syunik,  but it is being carried out incorrectly. It is necessary to work with  the map, go to negotiations with Azerbaijan, create a commission that  will deal with these issues. Both countries must reach an agreement  on border demarcation, it cannot be carried out at the request of the  enemy. Azerbaijan takes whatever it wants, on the basis of what  document is this demarcation carried out? It is necessary to stop  this demarcation and start negotiations.

I serve the Republic of Armenia. Armenia should become the center  around which our diaspora and Artsakh will unite. For this, a change  of power is necessary, "concluded Ohanyan.
