ArmInfo. Despite the obvious predeterminedness of his own political fate, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not resign, at least as long as 17 parties are on the streets. A similar opinion was expressed to ArmInfo by one of the leaders of the "Citizen's Decision" social-democratic party Suren Sahakyan.
"He will not leave as long as it is demanded by people who must bear equal responsibility with him for the current situation. Accordingly, it seems necessary to stabilize the internal political situation in the country as soon as possible and due tothis it will be possible to hold early elections sooner," he stressed. According to Sahakyan's estimates, the "current authorities" in the offices and the "former one" on the streets today, by and large, compete in which of them is worse. Society, in response, prefers to slowly go crazy at home from a sense of uncertainty, threat and hopelessness, but not join either one or the other. Against this background, the politician came to the conclusion that it does not matter at all who will be an alternative to the "former authorities" and "current authorities" as of today. The reason is the impossibility of any option for the country's exit from the existing situation without losses and threats. And taking into account the disposition of a rigidly rational, collective Armenian society towards certainty, the choice today stands between a certain present and an uncertain future.
"We must understand that the return of our prisoners of war from Azerbaijan began only when the rallies in Armenia ended around this problem. The same is happening around the search for the missing and the search for the bodies of the dead. And as long as Baku can destabilize the situation in Armenia by delaying of these processes, it will drag this process out . This is a swamp in which the more you move, the more you get stuck, "he stressed.
It takes a long time, according to Sahakyan, to look for the perpetrators of this situation, the people who drove the country and society into this situation. In his opinion, all political players, without exception, are guilty. Both "current authorities" and "former ones". "Former authorities" - by the fact that they destroyed the political field. "current authoriyies - because they did not create opportunities for the emergence of new alternatives. As a result of all this, the people became a hostage between the "former authorities" and the "current authorities." There is a way out of holding early elections, andfor holding them it is necessary to stabilize the situation in Armenia as soon as possible. "Sahakyan summed up.
