ArmInfo. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan said that he does not intend to run in the parliamentary and presidential elections in Artsakh. This is stated in the edited version of the appeal to the people on the Harutyunyan's page on the Facebook social network.
The Artsakh President suddenly announced that he was ready to quit politics. He stressed that he will resign as soon as the country is ready to overcome the difficulties of the presidential and parliamentary elections.
"Presidential and parliamentary national elections will be held in Artsakh within a reasonable time. I will not take part in them and will quit politics, "said Harutyunyan.
To note, in the first edition, the President of Artsakh noted that he was going to resign immediately after the war, however, he stayed in order to maintain stability in the country and not burden the republic with early elections. Harutyunyan stated that he was ready to leave at the first opportunity.
