ArmInfo. There are practically no political forces left in Armenia that did not use street fighting at one stage or another of their activities as a means of achieving their goals. President of Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardyan expressed a similar opinion to ArmInfo.
"And today there is a tendency of deepening and increasing the existing political tension. This mainly concerns the opposition, although some representatives of the authorities are doing the same on social networks. Both are unacceptable. Meanwhile, it seems that most of our society today does not seek to the political struggle, but to the solution of the most difficult problems of the country, which I appreciate, "the expert noted.
In this light, Navasardyan noted that the most active part of civil society prefers to be engaged in the real activity: to help people who have suffered from the war in Artsakh. These are people involved in volunteer movements and just people who do charity work from the bottom of their hearts and wholeheartedly.
In his opinion, all these people do not want to become participants in the current political struggle at all. First of all, due to the fact that they are well aware that today the struggle for power is not at all a priority task in Armenia. According to Navasardyan, the priority task is to restore the foundations of the statehood, which was seriously shaken during the hostilities in Artsakh, and, of course, the restoration of effective management of the country.
According to Navasardyan's estimates, the work in this direction, can be expanded on a set of vectors. In this light, he noted that Armenia has many problems in the diplomatic field. Problems caused by the loss of subjectivity, which directly and very negatively affects the sovereignty.
"We see that only a government capable of complete control of the situation, capable of acting consistently and productively, would allow us to keep entire villages under its control. Meanwhile, today the retention of one village seems to be more important than all this political struggle between the government and the opposition, a struggle that distracts attention, time and, of course, energy. I think the conclusions are obvious here, "Navasardyan summed up.
