ArmInfo. It is necessary to distinguish between true and false information. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on December 14 live on his Facebook page.
According to him, there are times when an obvious lie should be condemned by all. For example, rumors are spreading that the Armenian government has already ceded Sevan, Jermuk and Syunik to Azerbaijan. This, as the head of government emphasized, is a clear evidence of the unfolded information war, and clear steps are being taken to counter this issue. "Nobody should doubt the inviolability of the country's borders," the RA Prime Minister said.
He also recalled that for more than a month, false information has been periodically circulated about the members of the prime minister's family that he allegedly sent his children abroad. Meanwhile, as Nikol Pashinyan stressed, from the moment of hostilities and until now, none of his family members have left Armenia. He also denied reports of a huge fortune beyond the cordon.
"My only property, like that of my family, is real estate in the Shengavit administrative district in Yerevan (a 3-room apartment on Garegin Nzhdeh Street, Ed. note)," added Nikol Pashinyan, refuting rumors about the wealth of his family members. "Apart from the published funds, I and the family members have nothing else," the Armenian prime minister said.
Nikol Pashinyan stated that, despite the rumors, he is not going to resign, "I can refuse my status, elected by the people only on the basis of reliable results of the free expression of the will of the people, and since such an expression of will do does not exist, I will continue to act as prime minister, "Nikol Pashinyan said. He added that the first task of the day for the country's authorities is to quickly stabilize the security situation.
