Statement: The Victory Parade in Baku was "a dance on the bones " and  an insult not only to Armenia, but also to Russia

ArmInfo.. "Dance on the bones", which was staged in Baku on December 10, calling it "victory parade", is a provocation by Azerbaijan and Turkey, a public  humiliation of Armenia and the Armenian people. This is stated in the  statement of the Council of the International "Lazarev Club".

The march in Baku yesterday also means something special - the  legitimization of Turkey's neo-Ottoman claims and an attempt to  rewrite the history of the region to please it. This was publicly  expressed in the presence of the Turkish leader, Mr. Erdogan, at the  event, his open admiration for Enver Pasha, the main organizer of the  Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire, and applause for the passage  of Azerbaijani units dressed in the uniform of Turkish  interventionists in the Caucasus in 1918.

This humiliation of Armenia would not have happened if responsible  and competent politicians were in power in Yerevan, capable of  managing the state and defending the interests of their people. Nikol  Pashinyan's policy brought the country to the death line, at which  the Republic stands now, having suffered great human, territorial and  moral losses in the war for Nagorno-Karabakh. It is this bankrupt  government of Armenia that bears full responsibility to the Armenian  people today.

Nikol Pashinyan lost the trust of the Armenian Church, all thinking  and feeling Armenians and friends of Armenia in the world. He lost  the trust of the Armenian people in his country. Clinging to power,  the Prime Minister of the Republic is forced to resort to repression  every day, accompanying this with demagogy about the "will of the  people" and "enemies of the people". We are convinced that only the Armenian people have the right to  decide their fate. Armenia needs to draw conclusions from the hard  lessons of Karabakh, to unite to overcome the bitterness of losses  and disappointments. Surrounded by such neighbors as Turkey and  Azerbaijan, the Armenian people in Armenia will not be able to fully  exist and move forward in an atmosphere of disbelief in their  strength.
