ArmInfo. The initiative "New Year's Miracle for the Children of Artsakh" was launched in Armenia, the goal of which is to fulfill the New Year's dreams of  children from all over Artsakh, including internally displaced  persons from Shushi, Hadrut and other occupied territories.

As reported in the message of the "Aurora" government, hundreds of  Artsakh children wrote letters to Santa Claus, in which they told  about their New Year's wishes and dreams. Letters were accepted until  December 5 of the current year.  A lot of people in different  countries responded to the initiative's call, thanks to which 22  thousand dollars have already been raised to realize the wishes of  children. Donations are accepted until December 15 inclusive.

"Within the framework of this project, we plan to purchase at least  2,500 gift sets for children living in Artsakh, as well as for those  who were not taken apart by the" secret Santa ". Basically, children  ask for writing utensils, clothes, toys, sports equipment, etc. . ",  - said the co-founder of the initiative Diana Petrosyan. The  initiative can already be considered successful due to the fact that  both private benefactors and organizations from Armenia, other  countries of the world and the Armenian diaspora have joined it.   "For thousands of Artsakh children who are forced to leave their  homes, and some have lost their loved ones due to the terrible war,  this will most likely be the saddest New Year in their lives. To  bring some joy to their lives, we decided to launch this initiative,  which was immediately greeted with warmth. Every day there are more  and more people ready to help with the purchase of gifts. We are very  grateful and glad that our initiative is supported, "said the  co-founder of the initiative Margarita Vardanyan.  Secret santas  registration and collection of gifts will last until December 20.  "Santas" can choose one of the letters of Artsakh children following  the link and purchase the gift the child wants.  The participants of  the initiative will visit Artsakh between December 20 and the end of  the holidays to personally present gifts to children.
