ArmInfo.Rescue squads of the Artsakh State Emergency Service Rescue Forces Department continue to search for the bodies of the dead servicemen.
As reported by the State Emergency Service of Artsakh, since November 13, rescue teams and sapper groups of Artsakh have been conducting search operations together with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation.
Major General Karen Sargsyan, Director of the State Emergency Service, meets daily with the parents of the dead, missing or captured military personnel. The results of the search operations of the rescuers are discussed, opinions are exchanged and mutual proposals are accepted.
The search and exchange of the bodies of killed servicemen are almost completed in the territory of Shushi- Martakert, work is underway in the adjacent territories of the cities of Martuni, Askeran, as well as in the directions of Hadrut, Fizuli and Kashatakh region.
Following the talks, prospecting work will soon be continued in the southern part of Gadrut, which is under the control of Azerbaijan, namely in Mekhakavan and other settlements.
The State Emergency Service does not participate in negotiations. Artsakh rescuers are actively involved in search operations. In addition, by order of the director of the service, Major General Karen Sargsyan, an operational headquarters was created, in which factual information about military personnel is collected, marked on a map and transmitted to the parties to negotiations.
It should be noted that according to the latest data, the exchange of bodies of 600 persons took place in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In addition, as of December 6, the hotline created by the Russian peacekeeping forces received 248 calls about the missing. It is noted that the bulk of the calls concerned the military who disappeared in the Hadrud direction.
