Heavy snow blocked Upper Lars checkpoint

ArmInfo. Heavy snow has blocked the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint, which connects Russia with Georgia and Armenia. As a result, on Sunday, more than five hundred  heavy vehicles accumulated on the Russian side. This is reported by  the Russian media with reference to the Ministry of Emergency  Situations of North Ossetia.

It should be reminded that since yesterday the passage of trucks from  Georgia has been blocked due to snowfall.

The so-called Georgian Military Highway is the only land route  connecting Russia with Armenia.
