"We fully share the anxiety and grief of families faced with a great human tragedy. The Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Interdepartmental Center for Humanitarian Response are directly involved in solving this acute problem, acting in close coordination with the competent authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as authorized international organizations. This issue is in the focus of attention of the top leadership of the Russian Federation, which attaches particular importance to the comprehensive implementation of the provisions of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020. We remind you that to help those who find themselves in this tragic situation, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has established a special Commission for the collection and processing information on servicemen and other persons who died, disappeared and were captured during the conflict in Nagorno- Karabakh>, - said in a statement by the Russian Embassy in Armenia. It should be noted that these days the parents and relatives of persons who disappeared during the hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict repeatedly came to the embassies with a request to assist in finding their loved ones.
