ArmInfo. The Armenian people are going through very difficult times. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on November 26 at a government meeting.
According to him, today the main requirement is to overcome this period of time. "As the prime minister of the country, I take on take full responsibility for the current situation in the country. At the same time, I realize that I am responsible not only for what happened, but also for the further development of the country. Ensuring internal and external security, and the "road map" I published on November 18, should become an exceptional priority of the government and a necessity, and all our efforts should be focused on solving this problem, "Nikol Pashinyan said.
He noted that the RA government is already implementing two large-scale assistance programs aimed at solving the problems of compatriots from Artsakh. Assistance programs, as the head of government assured, will continue as long as necessary. In the near future, the government will focus on the restoration of the settlements of the Syunik and Gegharkunik regions of Armenia, affected by the hostilities, by analogy with the projects being implemented in the Tavush region.
Among the exceptional priorities, according to Nikol Pashinyan, will also be issues related to the search for the missing and the exchange of bodies of the dead. The government is working on solving this problem on a daily basis. The main problem here is that the effectiveness of resolving this issue is often not connected only with the Armenian side. Among the urgent tasks are guarantees of social protection for the families of dead servicemen, persons who have become disabled and other categories of citizens who have suffered as a result of hostilities.
But even in these conditions, Nikol Pashinyan continued, it is necessary to continue the implementation of reform programs, moreover, with the expansion and deepening of the reform agenda in the context of new challenges. In parallel with solving urgent problems, it will be necessary to assess what happened, identify and analyze their causes, so that the Armenian community would receive clear answers to questions about what happened and how. "The people should have access to the truth in order to make appropriate decisions. The most important task of the government should be for the citizen to really feel himself the master of the country, and with this awareness build his future. It is the citizen who must decide with whom and how to build this future, and in this future, who and what role should play, "the RA Prime Minister said, adding that the creative potential of the Armenian people and RA citizen is inexhaustible. One of the most important tasks will have to be the centralization of this potential for building a new future. "We must not allow this faith to be killed, and our daily task must be aimed at strengthening and strengthening this faith," the head of the Armenian government said.
