French Senate recognized the independence of Artsakh

ArmInfo. The French Senate recognized the independence of the Republic of Artsakh. 305 deputies voted “for” the adoption of the resolution, 1 parliamentarian “against”. Thus, the resolution was adopted.

Parliamentarians condemned the aggression of Azerbaijan and Turkey against the Armenian people, calling on the government of the Fifth Republic to guarantee the right of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh to self-determination.

Note that the resolution is of a recommendatory nature. The document will go to the French government for consideration.
