ArmInfo. Russia is not interested in supporting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, because he has lost his prestige. Former Prime Minister of Armenia Hrant Bagratyan stated this at a press conference.
Bagratyan noted that the Russians intend to strengthen their military presence in the region. "They plan to provide us with material and technical assistance in the amount of $ 8 billion. They need a partner here, a person who is able to lead the country. They need a government that can keep Armenia self-sufficient," the former prime minister stressed.
Bagratyan also noted that the position of the Russian media in relation to Pashinyan is also extremely negative and even simply mocking. "It becomes very insulting, since Pashinyan is still the Prime Minister of Armenia. But one thing is clear, Nikol Pashinyan must resign. After that, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian must also resign," said the former Prime Minister of Armenia, accusing the latter in relations with British foreign intelligence.
