ArmInfo. On November 24, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed Minister Vahram Dumanyan to the employees of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, the Prime Minister thanked former Minister Arayik Harutyunyan for the work done and wished Vahram Dumanyan fruitful work. "We talk a lot about the level of development of institutions in the country, and I am convinced that all our problems are related to its low level. But it is also important not to ignore thinking as an institution. We must consider this issue as a whole, understand it, imagine how by thinking we are guided by the extent to which this institution meets our needs, requirements, interests, and, of course, what reforms need to be carried out in order to be able to achieve the set goals, "the Prime Minister said.
Arayik Harutyunyan thanked the staff of the Ministry for the joint work, noting that the structure as an institution has been formed and is in good working order. According to him, during the war, the reaction to the situation, to COVID, was adequate, this happened thanks to the people who worked in the department. A. Harutyunyan thanked Prime Minister Pashinyan for the support provided to the activities of the ministry. "The reforms launched in the ministry will have a positive impact on internal relations, on our economy and our positions in international relations. And, in my opinion, the good foundations must be solid," said the now former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, expressing readiness to cooperate with the new minister.
In turn, Vahram Dumanyan, thanking the Prime Minister for the trust, noted that he accepted the offer to head the ministry with full responsibility. "I am ready to give all my strength to our state, our country to do everything possible in this area," said the newly appointed minister. At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wished the new members of the government success in their work.
