ArmInfo. Another convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with humanitarian aid arrived in Stepanakert on Tuesday, a TASS correspondent reports.
The column was formed in Rostov-on-Don. Twenty departmental <Kamaz> trucks delivered 300 tons of building materials: timber, glass and slabs. These materials will be used in the restoration of residential buildings and infrastructure of Nagorno-Karabakh. On November 21, the first convoy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in five vehicles delivered 45 tons of building materials to Stepanakert.
On November 9, the leaders of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a joint statement on the complete cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh. The document provides for the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in the region. On November 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the establishment of an interdepartmental humanitarian response center in Nagorno-Karabakh. It included representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federal Security Service, representatives of other interested federal executive bodies. The decision of organizational issues is entrusted to the Ministry of Defense.
