ArmInfo. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed Minister Mesrop Arakelyan to the staff of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, thanking Zaruhi Batoyan for the work done.
According to the press service of the government, the prime minister admitted that in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the war, its consequences, and the economic situation, social tension in the country would worsen even more. In this regard, Pashinyan stressed the need to accelerate the pace of work and achieve concrete results in the field of labor and social protection.
Mesrop Arakelyan noted that the current year was rich in social problems. As a result, he emphasized that all issues that have arisen in the social sector should be settled quickly. "The goal of my team in the Ministry will be to achieve new results every day in order to mitigate the current situation in the country as soon as possible," he said, noting that the government's programs that need to be implemented in the social sector will not be left aside either.
For her part, ex-Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan, expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for their trust and joint work, noted that it was an honor for her to work in the government of Armenia and serve the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. She noted that she was ready to further facilitate the work of the Ministry, the implementation of current programs and be in touch with both the newly appointed minister and the staff of the Ministry.
